DEMOCRATS LINE UP TO SUPPORT DASCHLE

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Four prominent Democratic Senators spoke out Saturday in support of former Sen. Tom Daschle, whose tax records have come under scrutiny as he pursues a Cabinet position in the administration of President Barack Obama.

Obama nominated the 61-year-old South Dakotan to be secretary of Health and Human Services, and the Senate Finance committee — which will vote on the nomination before the full Senate votes on whether to confirm him — is scheduled to meet Monday to discuss the nomination.

A committee memo obtained Friday by CNN indicates committee members want to discuss the use of a car and driver that Daschle didn't disclose on his income taxes, and nonpayment of taxes on more than $80,000 he earned in consulting fees after leaving the Senate.

Sen. John Kerry, D-Massachusetts, the senior member of the finance committee, released a statement Saturday saying, "Months ago, Tom personally and proactively addressed the taxes issue and took all necessary steps to correct his innocent error.

I guess this is the change that we have to get used to. All those innocent tax errors that politicians commit are easily forgiven.

What the fuck???

MUSLIM STUDENT ASSOCIATION

It boggles my mind how powerful email is and how fast information is transfered on the Internet. I am also amazed at how ignorant our politicians in Washington are for not protecting the American people.

In our capitalistic society everything is about money and the politicians are of course stuffing their pockets. That’s what really matters the most.

In the meantime the country is being infiltrated by the enemy.

Attached is a briefing on how radical Muslims are organized among American academic institutions. Our petro dollars at work....against us.

It is most important for administrators in higher education to ascertain all the funding sources for the Muslim Student Association(MSA) on their campuses. Equally important, the MSA meetings should be monitored. I hope the government is looking into this…don’t you

ARE TAX ISSUES A MINOR CONCERN?

He’s only been president for two days but he has already made some major changes.

He is planning on closing Guantanamo in order to uphold human rights and states that torture is illegal. My question is; do our enemies feel the same way? Of course not! This is another example of dumb American political correctness that will do us more harm than good.

Tim Geithner is going to be the next secretary of the treasury yet he admits to not paying his taxes for ten years. I mean give me a break. If the average American did that he would be fined and possibly sent to jail.

And the latest is Caroline Kennedy. At this time I don’t know exactly why she backed out of the senate seat to replace Hillary Clinton but the rumor is tax issues and a nanny problem. Talk about hypocrisy. She is supposedly worth over 100 million dollars and she has a tax issues.

We are in for an exciting four years my friend?

AN EDITORIAL FROM THE LONDON DAILY MAIL

The Daily Mail (UK National Paper) wrote this editorial about Obama on 1/6/2009. (For confirmation, Google "London Daily Mail Obama's Victory")

A victory for the hysterical Oprah Winfrey, the mad racist preacher Jeremiah Wright, the mainstream media who abandoned any sense of objectivity long ago, Europeans who despise America largely because they depend on her, comics who claim to be dangerous and fearless but would not dare attack genuinely powerful special interest groups.

A victory for Obama-worshippers everywhere.

A victory for the cult of the cult. A man who has done little with his life but has written about his achievements as if he had found the cure for cancer in between winning a marathon and building a nuclear reactor with his teeth.

Victory for style over substance, hyperbole over history, rabble-raising over reality.

A victory for Hollywood, the most dysfunctional community in the world. Victory for Streisand, Spielberg, Soros and Sarandon.

Victory for those who prefer welfare to will and interference to independence. For those who settle for group think and herd mentality rather than those who fight for individual initiative and the right to be out of step with meager political fashion.

Victory for a man who is no friend of freedom. He and his people have already stated that media has to be controlled so as to be balanced, without realizing the extraordinary irony within that statement. Like most liberal zealots, the Obama worshippers constantly speak of Fox and Limbaugh, when the vast bulk of television stations and newspapers are drastically liberal and anti-conservative.

Senior Democrat Chuck Schumer said that just as pornography should be censored, so should talk radio. In other words, one of the few free and open means of popular expression may well be cornered and beaten by bullies who even in triumph cannot tolerate any criticism and opposition.

A victory for those who believe the state is better qualified to raise children than the family, for those who prefer teachers' unions to teaching and for those who are naively convinced that if the West is sufficiently weak towards its enemies, war and terror will dissolve as quickly as the tears on the face of a leftist celebrity.

A victory for social democracy even after most of Europe has come to the painful conclusion that social democracy leads to mediocrity, failure, unemployment, inflation, higher taxes and economic stagnation. A victory for intrusive lawyers, banal sentimentalists, social extremists and urban snobs.

Congratulations America

THE EMAIL I WAS REFERRING TO

Subject: Mr. Aviv

EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS!!!!!

Juval Aviv was the Israeli Agent upon whom the movie ' Munich ' was based. He was Golda Meir's bodyguard--she appointed him to track down and bring to justice the Palestinian terrorists who took the Israeli athletes hostage and killed them during the Munich Olympic Games. (Aviv's bio is noted at end.)

He predicted the London subway bombing on the Bill O'Reilly show on Fox News stating publicly that it would happen within a week. At the time, O'Reilly laughed and mocked him saying that in a week he wanted him back on the show. But, unfortunately, within a week the terrorist attack had occurred.

Now for his future predictions: He predicts the next terrorist attack on the U.S. will occur within the next few months. Forget hijacking airplanes, because he says terrorists will NEVER try and hijack a plane again as they know the people onboard will never go down quietly again. Aviv believes our airport security is a joke--that we have been reactionary rather than proactive in developing strategies that are truly effective. For example:

1) Our airport technology is outdated. We look for metal, and the new explosives are made of plastic.

2) He talked about how some idiot tried to light his shoe on fire. Because of that, now everyone has to take off their shoes. A group of idiots tried to bring aboard liquid explosives. Now we can't bring liquids on board. He says he's waiting for some suicidal maniac to pour liquid explosive on his underwear; at which point, security will have us all traveling naked! Every strategy we have is 'reactionary.'

3) We only focus on security when people are heading to the gates. Aviv says that if a terrorist attack targets airports in the future, they will target busy times on the front end of the airport when/where people are checking in. It would be easy for someone to take two suitcases of explosives, walk up to a busy check-in line, ask a person next to them to watch their bags for a minute while they go to the restroom, and then detonate the bags BEFORE security even gets involved. In Israel, security checks bags BEFORE people can even ENTER the airport.

Aviv says the next terrorist attack here in America is imminent and will involve suicide bombers and non-suicide bombers in places where large groups of people congregate. ( i.e., Disneyland, Las Vegas casinos, big cities (New York, San Francisco, Chicago, etc.) and that it will also include shopping malls, subways in rush hour, train stations, etc., as well as rural America this time (Wyoming, Montana, etc.).

The attack will be characterized by simultaneous detonations around the country (terrorists like big impact), involving at least 5-8 cities, including rural areas. Aviv says terrorists won't need to use suicide bombers in many of the larger cities, because at places like the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, they can simply valet park a car loaded with explosives and walk away.

Aviv says all of the above is well known in intelligence circles, but that our U. S. government does not want to 'alarm American citizens' with the facts.

The world is quickly going to become 'a different place,' and issues like 'global warming' and political correctness will become totally irrelevant.

On an encouraging note, he says the terrorists who want to destroy America will not use sophisticated weapons. They like to use suicide as a front-line approach. It's cheap, it's easy, it's effective; and they have an infinite abundance of young militants more than willing to 'meet their destiny.'

He also says the next level of terrorists, over which America should be most concerned, will not be coming from abroad. But will be, instead, 'homegrown' - having attended and been educated in our own schools and universities right here in the U. S. He says to look for 'students' who frequently travel back and forth to the Middle East. These young terrorists will be most dangerous because they will know our language and will fully understand the habits of Americans; but that we Americans won't know/understand a thing about them.

Aviv says that, as a people, Americans are unaware and uneducated about the terrorist threats we will, inevitably, face. America still has only a handful of Arabic and Farsi speaking people in our intelligence networks, and Aviv says it is critical that we change that fact - SOON.

So, what can America do to protect itself? From an intelligence perspective, Aviv says the U.S. needs to stop relying on satellites and technology for intelligence. We need to, instead, follow Israel's, Ireland's and England's hands-on examples of human intelligence, both from an infiltration perspective as well as to trust aware' citizens to help.

We need to engage and educate ourselves as citizens; however, our U. S. government continues to treat us, its citizens, 'like babies.' Our government thinks we 'can't handle the truth' and are concerned that we'll panic if we understand the realities of terrorism. Aviv says this is a deadly mistake.

Aviv recently created/executed a security test for our Congress, by placing an empty briefcase in five well-traveled spots in five major cities. The results? Not one person called 911 or sought a policeman to check it out. In fact, in Chicago, someone tried to steal the briefcase!

In comparison, Aviv says that citizens of Israel are so well 'trained that an unattended bag or package would be reported in seconds by citizen(s) who know to publicly shout, 'Unattended Bag.' The area would be quickly & calmly cleared by the citizens themselves. But, unfortunately, America hasn't been yet 'hurt enough' by terrorism for their government to fully understand the need to educate its citizens or for the government to understand that it's their citizens who are, inevitably, the best first-line of defense against terrorism.

Aviv also was concerned about the high number of children here in America who were in preschool and kindergarten after 9/11, who were 'lost' without parents being able to pick them up, and about our schools that had no plan in place to best care for the students until parents could get there. (In New York City, this was days, in some cases!)

He stresses the importance of having a plan, that's agreed upon within your family, to respond to in the event of a terrorist emergency. He urges parents to contact their children's schools and demand that the schools, too, develop plans of actions, as they do in Israel.

Does your family know what to do if you can't contact one another by phone? Where would you gather in an emergency? He says we should all have a plan that is easy enough for even our youngest children to remember and follow.

Aviv says that the U. S. government has in force a plan that, in the event of another terrorist attack, will immediately cut-off Everyone’s ability to use cell phones, blackberries, etc., as this is the preferred communication source used by terrorists and is often the way that their bombs are detonated. How will you communicate with your loved ones in the event you cannot speak? You need to have a plan.

Aviv's Bio as follows:

He holds an M.A. in Business from Tel Aviv University and is President and CEO of Interfor, Inc., an international corporate intelligence and investigations firm. Interfor, Inc. is now based in New York, with offices around the world. CHANGE IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER

As you start reading this Blog I want to be the first to admit to you that I am not a writer. I have written some articles in the past, in fact I have even published a few books but mostly directories.

You are not going to find literary excellence in this Blog. What you will find is the opinion of someone who has experienced many of the things that he will be writing about.

You will get the opinion of someone who has been around a little bit more than the average American but most importantly what I write will be the TRUTH.

By that I mean I have spent some time outside the United States and I have a better perspective of things going on than Joe average American and I will share many of those experiences with you.

I have been thinking about starting a Blog about the topic that I am going to cover here today for quite some time, but I have been putting it off and putting it off until today.

This morning there was a message in my email and once I read it, I knew then and there that the time has come for me to speak up.

Tomorrow is a very special day in American history. Barack Obama will become the next president of the United States. He is really going to have his hands full from day one and tomorrow he will admit to himself that he will not be able to keep many of the promises that he made during his campaign.

One of the main reasons that he won’t be able to keep many of his promises is because we do not have enough money. That is the bottom line. America is broke and we have a long tough road ahead of us to get out of the mess that we’re in.

Now mind you, I’m not saying that our situation is impossible, but what I am saying is that we are in deep shit.

Not only is Obama going to have to deal with the war in Iraq, the war in Afghanistan, the war in Gaza, the Russians, the North Koreans, the Chinese as well as the economy, but he will also have to deal with our corrupt money grubbing congress.

Honestly I did not vote for Obama but I did read his two books and I sincerely believe that his heart is in the right place. Now that he has won, I am 100% behind him. He is our Commander in Chief and I believe that he will do what is best for the country. In fact I will even say that the best man won because I honestly don’t think that his opponent could do any better.

President Elect Obama is a very intelligent person and he has surrounded himself with lots of other intelligent people, but unfortunately in my humble opinion I believe that he has also surrounded himself with lots of politicians from the old guard that I do not trust. They are some of the corrupt power hungry politicians who have their own agenda that is not always in the best interest of America and the American people.

I hope that my opinion turns out to be wrong and President Obama will bring the change to America that we so much need, and the economy will be back on track by the end of the year, and we can live happily ever after. Only time will tell.

In the meantime, let me share with you the email that I received this morning and let me just say “GOD BLESS AMERICA”
